With winter poking its head out I have pulled my trusty ugg boots out of the closet. Ugg Boots are awesome – if you don’t own a pair you should get out there and join the revolution! They are sooooo comfy! Use them as slippers or as shoes!Ugg boots are actually a take off of a sheepskin boot that has been worn for many years. They were once used by pilots in World War I and were used by Australian surfers back in the day who needed a quick way to warm up after riding the waves!
The Ugg Boots in today’s stores are a combination of that same warm feeling boot that warmed people and a flare of style. Traditonally short and tan coloured, you can get various colours and styles now, from the cute short boot with white fluff spilling over the top to knee high versions.
The best thing about them is the comfort, you can feel good while wearing these shoes while still being in style! The whole family should have Uggs because they just are so darn cute and comfortable!
TIP: Use a suede spray on your ugg boots – will keep them looking cleaner for longer and protect them from water, snow, mud, and spills. Spray your shoes before wearing, and on a regular basis thereafter. Cans of suede spray are usually about $10 and you can get them from supermaket as well as shoe stores.
