Spring Hair Tips!

Spring is here! Time to Lighten Up! [No “spring cleaning” jokes or puns. Promise.] Longer days mean more daylight. You can do more with your colour and cut.

Spring colours: If you are Blonde, Move your colour to the lighter, more cool tones. For the Brunettes, Time for the brighter primary colours. [Leave the darkness!] A shift to the coppers will look really good.

Cut: Spring is about growth so why not create movement in your hair? Keep the general clean shape though mess it up a little by blurring the edges with an uneven cut.

Maintenance: Your new uneven cut allows you to trim out the Winter split ends and other hair damage. [I still have a few good tricks left!] Loosen up the styling products to allow your hair to “move”. Slightly shaggy is great.

Remember your hair
will have suffered a little with all those evenings in front of the fire, night clubs and the dryness from the cold Winter wind and “the office” air conditioning.

Be kind to your scalp
. Avoid scrubbing and over vigorous combing. Use Mike REHAB conditioning Cream [shameless advertorial plug] and gently massage your hair back to health.

AVOID USING WATER THAT IS TOO HOT!!!
Water that is too hot can really damage your hair.

p.s. Did you read my Q&A in the latest Avenues Magazine? [Thought I did well.]
