1. Use a colour seal shampoo. Oxygen is the most likely contributor to your colour fading, so a colour seal shampoo stops the oxidation process and brings out the warm tones in your sunset blondes or mocha browns.
2. Also apply an all round cream like a moisturiser to your hair. The UV filters and vitamins help keep the hair smoother, saves the colour and rescues the ends.
3. To create a different look and texture for summer, try a beach surf spray. Lightly apply to almost dry hair and leave, or use curling tongs to produce soft luscious waves. Surf sprays and curling tongs (or your GHD’s) work together like a wedding on the beach.
Now your hair can look as fresh and relaxed as you are in summer with half the fuss. Shorter styles tend to need regular attention to maintain their shape every 4-6 weeks.
Most mid length to long styles require a cut or trim 6-8 weeks as the hair is older and more prone to damage or colour fading.
