Tie Me Up!

This month I thought I would tell you slynkey girls how to keep healthy when you practice hair restraint… that is, using Hair Clips and Hair Ties etc…Here are some quick tips:

1. When using Hair Ties:

Pulling your hair back after the Gym or a dip? Loosely tie your hair. This is very important as your hair expands when it is wet or damp, so if your hair tie is too tight, you can damage the individual strands of hair.

2. When using Hair Clips:
If your hair is too clean hair clips will not do their work. Use some hair spray to give the hair clips something to grip. Take care with damp hair as clipping too tight can damage you hair strands.

3. When using Hair Clips and you have Layered Hair:
Take a hair section and twist it up. Use the hair clips in a crossing X pattern to keep your hair in place.

4. When wearing a cute HeadBand:
Flick your fringe up and place band for look and style.

5. When wearing Hats:
Clip your hat onto your hair and not too tight. Nothing worse than “flat hat hair” in the evening when the formal stuff is over, things are getting loose and the music starts…
