Many of us don’t know what eyeshadow colours suit our eyes and can get into a routine of wearing the same colour for over and over… whether it suits us or not. The shadow color that best brings out your eye colour is actually the color opposite your eye colour on a color wheel (or the closest wearable shade to that). For example, if it was red, you would go for burgundys and reddish browns.
We have complied a list of eye colours and eyeshadow shades that will go best with each below, to give you a place to start and encourage you get out there & try a new colour!

If your eyes are… Dark Brown
You are able to wear almost any eye colour you lucky thing! Best will be blues, greens and pinks, and you can go with very bright shades too.
If your eyes are… Light brown or Hazel
Browns and golds will look best and bring out the gold or green flecks in your eyes.
If your eyes are… Green or Grey
Try purples, lavenders and plums. These will make your greens seem greener, and greys stand out.
If your eyes are… Blue

This is only a guide for the ‘main’ colour you use on your eye, you can usually always add dark tones and a lighter shade or silver or white to any colour scheme. Using the dark & light tones will help create depth in your look. Experiment and see what you like – And buy a brand new shade & feel great for this summer!
