eyeliner

Do you always have problems applying eyeliner correctly and trying to prevent it running? There are various ways of doing this; these tips may shed a little more light on the subject.

1. With your head tilted slightly upwards and the eye closed; gently lift the eyelid with your forefinger, outwards at the same time as upwards. - What this does is allow you to get the eye line alongside the very root of your lashes. By doing so, you will not end up having a gap between your lash line and the eyeliner.

2. Then starting from the outer edge of the eye (where the top lid meets the bottom), apply the product (as straight as possible) along the root of your lashes, stopping around 7mm away from the inner corner of the eye. Complete the rest of the eye while it’s open.

3. Next from the inner corner of the eye (exactly from the apex where the top lid meets the bottom) apply product with the eye open, until you join up with the eyeliner that you’ve just applied. - If you do this part with the eye closed, it tends to distort the true eye shape as you cannot get the liner exactly where it should be.

4. Lastly, the eye pencil or coal will usually move when the sebum starts arising to the surface of the skin. By blending the pencil or coal “in” with an angle brush, this should help to slow down the process. By patting a black eyeshadow over top of the pencil, as well as blending it in, will give even more durability.
