Dark Circles

There is a huge range of products on the market for different tones and textures of concealer. Don’t be tempted to go two shades lighter than your foundation colour, as this will only make the darkness of your skin seem grey and/or muddy.

Be extra careful not to lay it on too thick. Apart from the fact that it looks like you’re wearing too much makeup, it may also damage the delicate skin beneath your eyes. Remember, you want to tint the discoloration, not mask it.

A light reflecting product is great for this, with an added bonus, the product will not crease, or go into the fine lines…. It is, simply “magic”!!!

In good lighting, have a close look at the actual colour of your dark circles. If your darkness is grey, apply a very soft pink eyeshadow to the darkened area, underneath your foundation.

If your darkness is more like a blue hue, use a light peach colour instead of the pink. Basically, this will slightly correct the dark circles before your foundation goes on over the top.
