You’re eyebrows are one of the most expressive parts on the face. So many women forget all about them, but once they a
The space between your eyebrows should be equal to, or a little wider than, your eyes. To find where your brow should be, take a long eyeshadow brush or eye pencil and hold it parallel to the side of your nose, (vertically). Where the brush meets your brow is where your brow should begin.
To find the end of your brow, extend the brush diagonally from your nostril, following the outside edge of your eye toward the brow. Where the inside edge of the brush hits is where your brow should end. I believe a nice brow shape has a slight arch. To find where your brow should arch from, hold the brush parallel to the outside edge of the colored part of your eye (the iris). Where the brush meets the brow is where the start of the arch of your brow should be. You also want to make sure you're near a window with lots of light or under a very bright one, so you don’t go to mad with the tweezers. Trust me; they take a while to grow back!
Make sure you pluck hairs in the same direction as they grow, and don't grab too many hairs at a time. You also want to hold the skin taut as you pluck them. I totally believe it's a myth that brows should never be tweezed from above. You want both the bottoms and the tops to be smooth. Stop every few hairs to step back and look at the overall job you're doing.
Remember to consider; Unlike most hairs on your body, your brows won't always grow back once they have been yanked out. Once you're finished plucking, if you apply some “Aloe Vera Gel”, this will calm the redness down right away.
