New Zealand's Award Winning Champs-Elysees Beauty Day Spa was officially launched as the New Zealand Flagship Spa for Matis Paris on 24th April in an exclusive celebration involving live music, fine wine, distinguished company and luxurious gifts for all.

The celebration was held at Champs-Elysees Beauty~Day Spa, located in the Heritage Building in Christchurch’s Cathedral Square. As I entered the graciously restored 100 year old Building I was immediately captivated by the sophistication and elegance of the Spa. It is a true inner city sanctuary providing a peaceful haven to relax and unwind with a tantalising selection of luxurious spa treatments complimented perfectly by the French Skin Care Line, Matis.

On arrival I was greeted by Crystal Cook, Spa Manager and the national Matis represenatives and was kindly escourted through the candlelit Spa that comprised of 6 luxurious treatment rooms, a vichy shower room, a hydrotherapy tub room, a large relaxation lounge and double pedicure and double manicure areas. I was impressed to learn that Champs-Elysees Beauty~Day Spa is able to facilitate up to 12 guests at one time and, because they work closely with Heritage Christchurch, are able to offer their valued clients a complimentary valet parking service and complimentary use of the Heritage Health Club Spa and Sauna. I also learned that Champs-Elysees Beauty~Day Spa has just entered in the realms of medispa and are now offering a range of advanced skin care systems such as AHA peels, Microdermabrasion and IPL.

After a glass of bubbly and some delicious finger foods, served by the team of therapists, Tanya Hendriks of Celtine officially launched Champs-Elysees Day Spa as New Zealand’s Flagship Spa for Matis and the evening came to an end with all the guests receiving a luxurious Matis gift. Champs-Elysees Beauty~Day Spa offer a true European style Day Spa, reflecting true French stylle, elegance and French skin care right here in the heart of Christchurch. It was a truly memorable evening.
