A brazillian is different to a regular bikini wax as hair is removed from the front, back and everything in between. Sometimes a "landing strip" is left in the front but most clients opt for everything off! - but its up to you!Waxing genital areas is nothing new. Women used tweezers in Roman times, South Sea Islanders did it and they tattooed the bare flesh. It is a tradition in Arabic cultures and has since between common place in Western Society since the early 90s when seven brazillian sisters launched a company in New York that specialised in Brazilians. Its popularity spread through the world like wild fire.
Lets be realistic, pulling hair out of your genital area is not going to be a pleasant sensation. It is however not as painful as you might imagine. As a general guide, the feeling is like being slapped (down there) with a plastic ruler and fades very quickly. Follow-up treatments are gentler than your very first time and if you go every month you do get used to it. If I've learn't anything about Brazilian waxing, it is that women who have done get hooked! Yes it dies feel sexy, silky smooth, clean and sensation is enhanced! What are you waiting for!?
Do I have to get down on all fours for a brazillian wax?
A lot of places still ask clients to get on their hands & knees but I have no idea why! We do our best to preserve your modesty at all times and dont ask you to get in any strange positions.
Are there any health risks?
Humans may have needed some protection "down there" due to climate and lack of showering at one time but these days theres really no reason to have hair down there, with clothing providing ample protection and doctors say there is absolutely no harm in getting a brazillian.
If you are a bit of a baby, just to help with the pain.. Pop a few Neurofen a hour or two before you go for your wax for great pain relief!
